23 Genius Grantees Named. (October 13, 2012)

Earlier this month the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation announced the 23 2012 winners of its annual MacArthur Fellowships (Genius Grants). The $500,000 awards come without strings, and the foundation states their purpose is to support creative people and effective institutions committed to building a more just, verdant, and peaceful world.
