100K in 10 and USignite.(September 9, 2012)

The 100Kin10 project was founded in 2011. It is the United States' public-private partnership to train 100,000 outstanding STEM teachers within 10 years. While USignite is setting up public-private partnerships to develop next generation applications to utilize ultra high speed broadband.

It's noteworthy that PCAST does in fact have an effect on US Governmental policy.

At this past PCAST meeting (September 7, 2012) public-private partnerships came up for discussion. In particular 100kin10 and USignite.
