QS World University Rankings® 2010/2011 Released. (June 2, 2011)
The latest QS universities rankings were released today and aside from the overall listing it has extensive listings by subjects. It even has an interactive section where you can create your own world university ranking with "Scorecard".

Within the arts and humanities sector QS subject list includes: English Language and Literature Rankings, Modern Languages Rankings, History Rankings, Philosophy Rankings, Geography & Area Studies Rankings and Linguistics Rankings.

Overall rankings are also given for the top 400 universities where those ranked between 401and 600 are rated in blocks of 50 and the final group of 50 are listed as 601+.
Here we list the top 50 in the QS rankings for 2010/2011. Four of the top ten are in the United Kingdom and six belong to the United States, with Cambridge piping Harvard for 1st place.
ANU ranks 20th, Sydney-37, Melborne-38, Queensland-43, New South Wales-46.
