Global Warming and Electric Transport. (March 15, 2011)

One "Editors' Choice" for the February 18, 2011 issue of Science dealt with the use of stored electricity in hybrid vehicles. The question of how much the production of the large battery complex added to the vehicle's environmental impact wasn't discussed; nevertheless the findings are of interest and clearly further analyses will be forthcoming.
