President of the Royal Society, Martin Rees, Gets His 25 Minutes on the BBC's Hardtalk. (March 13, 2008)

Britain's Astronomer Royal and President of the Royal Society, Professor Martin Rees was very respectfully interviewed yesterday by the usually tough questioning Stephen Sackur for the BBC's program Hardtalk.

Although advertised a discussion on "the race to control space" it was was far wider ranging -- moving from governmental science policy to the rationale for basic research.
