Mr Howard has been Australia's Prime Minister for more than ten years and when his comment on climate change is in remarkable contrast with the views of a rapidly increasing number of leaders in the private sector, expressed for example by The Prince of Wales’ Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change, together with his view of the current intellectual structure in Australia in general and the universities in particular (the enemy within?) --

it would seem reasonable to view him as Yesterday's Man -- a relic from Dad's Army.
