Soothing Light of "Primitive" Life. (June 10, 2004)
Carina Dennis, Nature's Australian reporter reveals what may well be a ground-breaking innovation for stress and tension relief - the human kind not those encountered in material science and civil engineering.
"[A] luxury lounge bathed in soft, calming bioluminescence will soothe your worries away." Sydney-based microbiologist Kathy Takayama a Sydney microbiologist together with designer John Nicholson, are showing their concept couch at the Canberra Contemporary Art Space. Dennis reports, " The exhibit is part of Metis, the Australian festival of art meets science, and runs until 18 June." The degree of possible interest shown by psychoanalysts is not known.
