Democracy in Action: The Physiognomy of Choice. (November 2, 2007)

Just in time for Australia's federal election the Journal Science today reports on the correlation of electability and candidates' countenance.

While the analysis deals with the US presidential candidates, there's no reason to believe that the conclusions mightn't be as relevant for our political candidates, especially as the analysis involved students in South Australia and Wellington, New Zealand for reasons outlined in the short article below.

 

The assessment would seem to point to Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of the the world's most electable males
