Group of Eight to Undertake an "Independent Review". (August 8, 2011)

After more than a decade since its formation, the Go8 is reviewing its effectiveness as a group and its impact, with a view to determining its priorities at home and abroad in the changing future environment.

The Group of Eight announced that: "An independent appraisal of the role and functions of the Go8 is currently being conducted by Ernst and Young. Stakeholders are invited to complete an online, confidential survey to inform the review. Responses will be confidential and individuals who complete the survey will not be identified."
