La Trobe University Staff Condemn Adverse Consequences of the ERA. (April 15, 2011)

Today via a video link across its four campuses the staff of La Trobe University condemned the adverse consequences on Australian research that are occurring in the lead up to the next Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) evaluation and called upon the Federal Government to deal with the identified flaws in ERA before the commencement of the 2012 exercise through meaningful dialogue with staff and their representatives.

However, the motion stopped short of urging the government to discard the ERA as an expensive, but failed managerial exercise.
