The Times Releases Its Overhauled Rankings of the World's Top 200 Universities. (September 16, 2010)
And yet another set of university rankings have been published. The Times having split from QS Quacquarelli Symonds Limiteds and joined forces with Thomson Reuters has made available online its overall ranking for the world's top 200 universities.
As usual the United States is far out in front with most of the usual set vying for being in the top 10, while the UK gets three into the top 10. The wild swings for Australia's Group of Eight indicate marked differences in the scoring systems used by the four ranking systems.
