PCAST Scheduled for May 21, 2010. (April 26, 2010)

The next scheduled meeting of the US'  President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010. If you happen to be in Washington on the day, registration is now available. Space is limited for all meetings, and registration does not guarantee you a seat. All members of the public are admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis until capacity is reached. Online registration will close two days prior to the meeting date. As was previously the case, PCAST expects to video and webcast the meeting. There is no need to register if you wish to watch the webcast of the meeting, just logon to the PCAST website on the day.

Alternatively TFW will have a link to the video recordings as soon as they become available.

The agenda is given below and with major contributions by  Arun Majumdar, Jane Lubchenco and Marcia McNutt promises to be informative as to major US federally resourced scientific research initiatives.
