President of the Royal Society, Martin Rees, Talks with ABC's Monica Attard. (March 29, 2010)

The president of the Royal Society, Martin Rees, is Professor of Cosmology and Astrophysics and Master of Trinity College, Cambridge. Currently he is visiting Australia as the guest of the Australian Academy of Science and the British High Commissioner.

 

Yesterday Professor Rees discussed his views on the challenges of climate change, the makeup of Britain's House of Lords (where as Lord Rees of Ludlow he sits on the cross-benches), his "day job" of being a cosmologist/astrophysicist, and his views on Richard Dawkins, religion and god, with the ABC's Monica Attard on Sunday Profile.
