Nature Highlights Six Scientists' Views for COP 15. (December 9, 2009)

As Nature sums up in its December 10, 2009 issue:

The Copenhagen meeting, which runs from 7 to 18 December, is officially the 15^th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which was signed at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. Negotiators have been meeting each year for a COP since 1995, but the expectations and the stakes for this summit are orders of magnitude higher than for any previous one.

Prior to COP 15, Nature asked researchers "from around the world" about their plans for taking part. Below we reprint the responses of six of them and Nature's short commentarys.
