With rare exceptions a single individual's opinion carries little weight with the powers that be. But stated often enough by a number of people - something useful may be accomplished.
 

Lobby Groups

Science & Technology Australia (formally FASTS) is the most inclusive lobby group.

The Group of Eight is made up of eight leading Australian Universities. Since June 2000 they have maintained a secretariat in Canberra.
