*TSUNAMI-413* Dan (Dani) Censor (1936 - 2013) passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013, after a fierce battle with cancer. He died at his son's home in Beer-Sheva surrounded by his loving family. He was a Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Dani will be remembered by the academic community in Israel for his devotion to the struggle to protect academic independence and freedom in face of the wave of commercialization of the higher education system. He was the maintainer of the unedited free subscription list "Academia". Dani will remain in the hearts of his many students and colleagues and friends.
